Well, during these summer months of Ordinary time, discipleship training continues.

Our Gospel this weekend challenges us to consider carefully the cost of discipleship. At times, the members of the Early Church had to leave what was familiar, so as to heed the Lord's call to introduce people to life under His dominion and to build His Kingdom. For the disciple, this required a willingness to commit to the Lord''s mission. And so it is for us.

As summertime plans begin to take shape, we are pleased to announce our annual Patriotic Prayer Service which will take place on Saturday, July 4th at 6:00 pm.

The service, which will last 40 minutes, will include prayer, quotations from the presidents, and patriotic music. Following the event will be a community social in the Parish Hall replete with summertime “fixins” and refreshments. All are welcome.

The professional position of Marriage Preparation and Sacramental Services Assistant is now open for application at Saint Gregory Catholic Parish in Plantation.

Under the supervision of the Director of Sacramental Services, it is a role of accompaniment of individuals on their journey to receive sacraments, serving as the point of communication between the individual and the parish, coordinating the articulation of requirements, collection of documents, and the handling of logistics associated with the expectations and requests for completing the sacramental journey.

Office skills and knowledge of the Church's sacramental life are preferred.

Saint Gregory School has a popular After-School Care Program for children. Currently, we are welcoming applications for adult supervision, part-time roles as "after-care monitors" for the academic year 2026-2027.
