Make Daily Mass Part of Your Lenten Journey
Lent is a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. One of the most powerful ways to deepen your prayer this Lent is by attending Daily Mass. Even one additional Mass during the week can strengthen your relationship with Christ and anchor your day in grace. At Mass, we are nourished by the Word of God and the Holy Eucharist the true Body and Blood of Jesus. | Daily Mass is quieter, more intimate, and a beautiful way to grow in devotion during this sacred season. Daily Mass Schedule at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish:
Rosary is prayed at 7:45am on weekdays, immediately before the 8:15am Masses. Consider choosing one extra day each week to join us. Give the Lord a little more time this Lent and allow Him to give you even more grace in return. Lenten Wednesdays
Lenten Wednesdays: Soup Suppers & Adult Catechesis SeriesWednesdays During Lent • Seton CenterLent is a sacred season of repentance, renewal, and deeper conversion of heart. It is a time when the Church invites us to slow down, take an honest look at our lives, and respond more intentionally to the call of Christ. This Lent, Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish invites our parish family to journey together through Lenten Wednesdays an evening of community, formation, and hope.
This powerful and practical resource serves as a guide for parents, grandparents, and families longing to help loved ones reconnect with the Catholic faith. Many families carry quiet grief as children and loved ones drift away from the Church. This series offers a hope-filled, faith-grounded response inviting us to move beyond passive waiting toward intentional prayer, understanding, and loving action. Through guided reflection, discussion, and practical application, we will explore real reasons why young people drift from the Church and discover compassionate, faithful strategies for responding to this reality with courage and trust in God. Parishioners may pick up a copy of the book at the parish office in the Seton Center in advance of the series. Reading ahead is encouraged but not required to participate. This Lenten series flows directly from the desires expressed by our parish family in the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) Survey for deeper adult faith formation and greater confidence in living and sharing the Faith. All Are Welcome Let this Lent be a season not only of sacrifice, but of hope, healing, and renewed mission, as we walk together toward Easter trusting in God’s power to bring His children home. Stations of the Cross
Lent invites us to slow down. The Stations of the Cross lead us step by step through the final journey of Jesus from His condemnation, to His suffering, to His death and burial. As we move from station to station, we
remember that Christ did not suffer from a
distance. Each station offers a moment to pause. Whether you have prayed the Stations for years, or have never attended before, this simple and powerful devotion is a beautiful way to enter more deeply into the season of Lent. Stations of the Cross are prayed every Friday during Lent:
Come for one Friday. Let this prayer help prepare your heart for the saving mystery of the Cross and the joy of Easter. Special Collection
The Special Collection taking place on this First Sunday in Lent is for the Black and Native American Mission population. This mission campaign helps to support the evangelization programs in the United States. Mission communities exist in almost every diocese in the U.S. Missionary priests, religious, catechist and devoted lay people work tirelessly in parishes and reservations to promote the faith. Through our prayers, generosity and sacrifice we share in spreading the gospel of Christ’s love in black and Native American communities across the land.
