I am very excited about a new chapter beginning in the life of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish. This year, we are making a significant investment in our young people with the addition of Will Anderson as our full-time Youth Minister & Campus Minister and a renewed commitment to building a vibrant culture of youth ministry.

Trinkets & Treasures

Your gently used items become treasures for someone else. We gladly accept: household items, home décor, kitchenware, toys & games, small furniture, holiday decorations, books (excluding textbooks).

Please do not bring: Clothing (including shoes and hats), textbooks, obsolete computers or electronics, broken items.

Basket Raffle

It's Bazaar time again! Once again we will be accepting donations for the basket raffle. So many beautiful baskets have been donated over the years and for that we are so grateful!

We gratefully welcome donations of: Gift baskets, Gift cards, Themed baskets, Sports baskets, Children's baskets, Homemade specialty baskets, Family activity baskets... and more!

Drop-off dates: Seton Center or Notre Dame Catholic Schools, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

Father Joe Salerno, our pastor emeritus, will be celebrating First Friday Mass at Lourdes on Friday, September 4th at 8:15am.

Following the Mass, the group will move to the Seton Center for a light breakfast where Fr. Joe will deliver a brief retreat talk for participants.

We are excited to begin a new monthly tradition at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish:

8:15 a.m. Mass on the First Saturday of each month in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Immaculate Heart.

The Five First Saturdays Devotion, associated with Our Lady of Fatima, is a beautiful invitation to draw closer to Jesus through Mary. Through Holy Communion, Confession, the Rosary, and meditation on its mysteries, we seek conversion of heart, reparation for sin, and a deeper love for Christ.

Our first First Saturday Mass will be:

Our First Gathering is on Catechetical Sunday!

We meet twice a month at parish as a family to pray, learn, and grow together. Simple lessons and activities at home help reinforce what we learn together as a family in a way that fits your real life!

Family Life Catechesis is a new model of faith formation that recognizes parents as the primary teachers of the faith. We partner with you equipping, encouraging, and supporting your family as you grow together in love of Jesus and His Church.

Inspired by the Gospel and the witness of Saint Francis of Assisi as we celebrate the Year of Saint Francis.

As our young people enter their teenage years, their questions deepen and their experience of Faith grows with them. Formal parish Faith Formation continues through a special track integrated into our weekly Youth Ministry Nights.

We gather every Monday throughout the formation year, except holidays and scheduled breaks.

Because Youth Ministry Nights are the primary setting for grade 7 & 8 Faith Formation, registered students are expected to participate regularly and attend the majority of Youth Ministry Nights throughout the year.

A welcoming community for teens in Grades 7–12 throughout the Greater Utica Area.

Greetings! My name is Will Anderson and I am the new youth minister for Mary Mother of Our Savior Parish. I am from Syracuse and my home parish there was Holy Family. I was always involved in parish life, be it altar serving, or attending all the events at my parish.

During the month of September we will be collecting sandwich items.

This can include small plastic sandwich bags, brown paper bags, small bags of chips, small bags of individual packaged cookies, popcorn, animal crackers, Thank you for all you continued support.
