“Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking not for his own interest, but also for those of others.” (Philippians 2:3-4)

Pride and ego usually get the way and are hard to control. We see how others act or dress and think we are better than them. We idolize our own self-image; it is all about “me”. But if we truly believe everything is a gift from God, we would recognize that all the people that God has put in our lives as gifts! We would be grateful for how they enrich our lives. Pray every day for the people in your life. Make a commitment to be more Christ-Centered instead of self.
