Moving Forward Together: From Listening to Mission

This past Lent, our parish family at Mary, Mother of Our Savior participated in the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) survey a comprehensive tool developed by the Catholic Leadership Institute to help parishes measure spiritual engagement and mission effectiveness. We had an excellent response rate from parishioners across all age groups and Mass times, which speaks to your deep love for our parish and your desire to help us grow. The results revealed both areas of strength and opportunities for renewal signs of a vibrant faith community that is eager to keep moving forward together.

The Great NYS Run for Vocations!

This weekend, our pastor, Father Jason Hage, will be running in his first full marathon the Great New York State Marathon in Syracuse, New York! Father Hage is dedicating every mile of this 26.2-mile race to the cause of priestly vocations in the Diocese of Syracuse. As the Director of the Office of Vocation Promotion, Father Hage works tirelessly to encourage and accompany young men discerning God’s call to the priesthood.

Through this marathon effort affectionately nicknamed “The Great NYS Run for Vocations!” he hopes to raise awareness and support for the St. Thomas Aquinas Fund, which provides for the education and formation of our future priests. Please keep Father Hage in your prayers this weekend as he runs the Great New York State Marathon for this important cause. Let’s join him in praying for more young men to courageously answer the call to serve Christ and His Church as priests.

To learn more or to make a gift in support of this effort, visit: syracusediocese.org/st-thomas-aquinas-fund.

Let’s cheer on Father Hage as he runs the race for vocations and the future of our Church!
